Ittaskforce arranged a meeting with health professionals of Basic Health Unit Awan Abad, District Dera Ismail Khan NWFP on 16th January 2007 at 10-30 am. Dr. Saleem MBBS and his collegues participated in this event. Speaking on the occasion M Shahjahan Bhatti, President ITTASKFORCE emphasised on the importance of ICT [0] in poverty reduction and overall improvement in environment of the area. He stressed on developing precise data bank to frame future policies. The participants welcomed the idea and promised to buy computers for themselves and their children. Dr. Saleem explained how computers and internet can help local community improve its health care system. The meeting ended at 3-38 PM with a committment to hold such meetings every week.
