Call for Participation

Dear All,

We have established a new facility to announce  iFOSSF co-operation opportunities at http://coop.ifossf.org.   Opportunities will be ranging from joint grant proposals, stipends and partnerships for awarded project implementations as well as  volunteering opportunities.

As a start, there are two Open Calls posted for collaborative grant opportunities, one for US National Endowment of Humanity the other one is for National Science Foundation. The general theme is to encourage iFOSSF members to collaborate on innovative projects to advance FOSS applications and its philosophy in real world situations.

Trans-European Innovation Platform

Thank you to everyone who has expressed an interest in Cultural Fusion and/or Oci Novosti.

We're now seeking partners to develop local Oci Novosti magazine projects.

The idea we're inviting input and feedback on is for a contest to introduce the project. Oci Novosti means Eyes News which is community, regional, national or even international news seen through the eyes of artists. The contest involves finding an image that would be regarded as or represents a problem in the community and then frame some part of it to find or create an image of beauty.

Recently I joined a conference of South Asian Water Parnership of 6 countries at Columbo Srilanka. I witnessed blind fury over the issues. My suggestion to use satellite based imagery of project area was considered and turned into the part of resolution but I fear I was not accurately understood.
