Jenny began her career at Bell Laboratories in the mid 80s with the privilege of working with many industries' well known Unix and Internet pioneers who have helped shape the Internet today. During her career, she moved from a software developer to system architect to an IT strategist in the R&D department of Global 500 companies.
Jenny enjoys learning new technologies that enhance the quality of life and making people more efficient. She is passionate about the FOSS philosophy and process that enables people to become creators of knowledge rather than mere passive consumers. Her vision is to use FOSS and FOSS philosophy as a sustainable human development strategy that creates and utilizes enabling ICT solutions to meet the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
Jenny holds a Bachelor Degree in Economics and a Master Degree in Computer Science. She is married with two lovely children.
